Massive Demonstration against Coup Saturday, Demands Release of PM Bahah

Youth movements (No
for the Coup), and the (For a Safer Homeland) called upon all Yemeni people to
participate in masses on Saturday to reject the coup and to condemn the
malpractices of Houthi militia.
According to a
statement by (For a Safer Homeland) the demonstration comes "within the
public rejection to Houthis' acts of violence and repression and their coup
against the constitutional legitimacy. It is also a call to respect the draft
constitution prepared by all parties, and to demand a full-package implementation
of the national dialogue outcomes.
According to the
statement, protesters will renew on Saturday their rejection of the presence of
armed militias in the capital Sanaa and other cities. They will take to streets
to regain the state's dignity, as well as calling for the immediate release of
resigned Prime Minister Khaled Bahah and other ministers and officials.
The organizers
announced that the assembly point of the demonstration will be in the
intersection of Zubairi and Hayel Streets in the capital Sanaa in front of the
Ministry of Youth and Sports at 930 in the morning.
